I will do nothing to harm, destroy, or tamper with any property sign, abandoned structure, natural resource or form of wildlife.

I will not deliberately disturb or excavate any site known to be and clearly designated as an archaeological resource.

I will report to the proper authorities any site found be accident that has the appearance of being archaeologically significant.

I will myself practice and teach other detectorists nondamaging target recovery techniques.

I will report any detectorist who deliberately does not practice responsible recovery techniques on public and private property.

I will offer my services freely to anyone publicly in need of help locating lost jewelry and family momentoes.

I will be considerate of fellow detectorists and not invade private hunt sites without their knowledge and consent.
